Her hobbies include reading, watching shows, shooting, (occasionally) hiking, and overall relaxing.

Hugo Dorado
Hugo Dorado - Best Man
Greetings fellow Jedis! For those who don’t know me, I’m Hugo, the best man and long-time friend of the groom. Kyle and I first crossed paths while working on the box AKA ambulance - a setting that, as you can imagine, is full of adrenaline and is a high-stress environment. Through sleepless nights and near-death experiences in Mexico, our friendship deepened in ways that only those shared moments can forge. I’m truly honored to be a part of Ana and Kyle’s big day, having witnessed their growth and deep connection with each other.
Brianna Reedy-Chavez
Brianna Reedy-Chavez - Bridesmaid
Ana and I met in my sophomore year of high school through what I felt was a string of fate and some odd circumstances. Through high school chorus and the discovery of mutual friends, we grew to be inseparable in the following years. Though she has moved around the States a few times, Ana and I have stayed united in spirit! I met Kyle for the first time a year or two ago, and I don’t think I could find a couple more suited for each other. They share humor and a connection in the way most people dream of. If you see me at the wedding, topics of conversation could include: my children, tattoos, desserts, and anime.

Kayla Merinianin
Kayla Merinianin - Groomswoman
Kayla has been a friend of the groom for TOO many years to admit and instantly clicked with the bride when she came into her life. She grew up in Temecula, CA – hence the reason she has been stuck with Kyle for SO long, but loves to travel the world. She currently works in the gaming industry and recently moved back to the West Coast with her husband, Drew, and their mini goldendoodle Valentine (there's a 120% chance you will now find her at Disneyland every weekend). Her current and continuous pastime is playing video games and reading, but recently she has picked up painting again and archery.
Steve and Melissa Horinek
Steve and Melissa Horinek - Parents of the Bride
Steve grew up in a small farming community in north central Montana. He was one of 6 graduating students, he just missed out graduating in the top five of his class. After graduation, Steve studied Aviation Electronics at Helena Technical School in Helena, Montana. Steve moved to Amarillo, Texas, after graduation, where he worked in the aviation field and obtained his private pilots license. Steve met Melissa in Sunday school and after a short engagement, they married on November 06, 1976. While in Texas, Steve began attending Angelo State University at night and finally became a full-time student after 4 years. Steve graduated with a BS in Computer Science in December of 1983. He was a member of Epsilon Delta Phi (honor society for computer science majors). After graduating from ASU, Steve went to work for GTE Corporation. Steve held numerous IT management positions of increasing responsibility that resulted in living and working in San Angelo, Houston, Atlanta, Argentina, and Mexico City. During his career, Steve continued studying and earned a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and did course work at Carnegie Mellons Software Engineering Institute. After leaving GTE, Steve continued his career in Denver and Toronto, Canada. After moving to Florida, Steve continued to do consulting IT management work for large corporate companies. Steve’s greatest moments were watching Ana grow up to be a smart, pretty, determined, and sometimes a little stubborn young lady. Steve says, “While, I couldn’t change the world, I could change the world for one little girl” “And that is biggest blessing in my life.” Retiring from the corporate world, Steve became a yacht broker, bought a sailboat and spends as much time as possible on it. Steve and Melissa left Florida on the boat in April 2024, cruising in the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Central America, and plan to arrive in San Diego in the 2025. “We are so happy to have Kyle as a member of our family and look forward to spending a lot of time with Kyle and Ana. I love you both.” - Dad My name is Melissa Horinek, and I’m Ana’s Mom. I was born in Oklahoma City, graduated in Communications from Oral Roberts University, and worked in radio and then television. I switched gears to public relations and started working for GTE Corporation when I was 29. Later, when we moved to Florida, I became a licensed practical nurse. My husband Steve (Ana’s Dad) and I met and married in Amarillo, Texas. We’ve been married 47 years! When we were living in Atlanta, I saw a newspaper article about families that were adopting babies from China. We ended up flying to China with seven other families and brought Ana home in 1998. That was a banner year for us! We were so happy to have her join our family; it was the best thing we ever did, for sure! We love her so very much! From Atlanta, we moved to Mexico City (for work), then to Denver, then Toronto. Our final big relocation was to Fort Myers, Florida, where Ana attended private school through 9th grade and then graduated from North Fort Myers High School. Ana was an excellent student and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Washington University in Spokane, Washington. While in college she also worked full time - I’m very proud of her! We are thrilled that Ana and Kyle have found each other and we are very fond of our son-in-law. All the best to the happy couple and our prayers for much happiness in the years to come! With love, Melissa
